DJ PRINZ — Three Decades Behind the Decks From Café d’Anvers to Tomorrowland, DJ Prinz has built a career connecting generations through electronic music. Active since 1995, the Belgian DJ, producer and promoter brings three decades of experience and an instinct for what a room needs next. House, deep house, tech house and techno form his musical vocabulary. Groove is the constant, while depth, melody and energy shape each set into a journey that responds to the crowd. His story began at the Cruises to Pleasure boat parties, playing alongside Blake Baxter and Stacey Pullen. A joint tour with Masters at Work took him to Geneva, Paris and Brussels, followed by bookings in Montreal, Miami, Amsterdam and Ibiza. His festival appearances include Tomorrowland, Dance Valley, Kazantip, Loveland, Laundry Day and 10 Days Off. A Café d’Anvers resident from 2000 to 2015, Prinz co-founded Push It with Maurits Vermeer in 2005. Its nights brought emerging talent together with guests including Guy Gerber, Joseph Capriati, Dosem and Ellen Allien, while the Young Talent Tour gave new DJs opportunities beyond their local scene. He founded Push It Records in 2009. His catalogue includes My Sound, Magicago with Maks and his remix of BP’s Eargasm, with Kolombo and LouLou Players among Magicago’s remixers. From 2010 to 2024, Prinz helped shape Tomorrowland’s camping opening party, later known as The Gathering, combining DJ sets with joint line-up programming, artist accreditation and stage hospitality. Today, his story continues through Push It and The Sound of Café d’Anvers events. Four editions are planned at Antwerp’s Het Leienpaleis in 2027 under A Tribute to the Art of Deejaying. Behind the decks, Prinz remains connected to the crowd, with another night waiting to unfold.
